Katrina is often the first port of call for our clients, and her warm and welcoming communication style fosters good conversations that place our clients at the centre of our work.
Prior to joining Mayvin, Katrina spent a decade in the events industry, first as an Events Manager and later as Sales Director.
During her time as an Event Manager, she travelled the length and breadth of the UK and Europe, delivering team building events to a huge range of clients, which she immensely enjoyed. Highlights include working with the GB swimming teams in the run up to the 2012 Olympics, creating a bespoke programme of events for scientists carrying out ground breaking research in their field, and working with a formula one pit crew to hone their teamwork and communication skills. This varied role allowed Katrina to develop a fascination with how people work together, the psychology behind it, and the impact it has on their organisations, which made her particularly drawn to the work that Mayvin does.
During her five years as a Sales Director, Katrina honed her business development skills and found the macro perspective of her new role to be a refreshing sea change. It was during this time that she established the skills she would eventually utilise as Business Development Manager at Mayvin, supporting our clients and consultants as they work together to explore how to shape our clients’ worlds and achieve their goals.
Outside of work, Katrina loves to spend time with family, exploring the Sussex countryside or down at the beach with her husband and young son.
