Vee Halliwell is an experienced practitioner in human resources, talent, change programmes and mergers & acquisitions. She started her career in retail, working for Harrods and on the Marks and Spencer graduate scheme and then went on to hold senior HR roles in Time Warner, Electronic Arts, Whitbread, and The Times Educational Supplement / Times Higher Education. She has extensive global experience having lived / worked in the USA, China and the Caribbean as well having had responsibilities within Europe and South Africa.
As a consultant, Vee has worked with organisations as diverse as The Princes Trust and The Ministry of Sound. She also runs a mindfulness training company which has trained over 2500 people in mindfulness-based approaches, introducing many more to mindfulness through work with organisations and schools, via public talks and online.
Vee is a Chartered Fellow of the Institute of Personnel and Development (FCIPD), Fellow of the Royal Society for the Encouragement of Arts, Manufacture and Commerce and an RYA Ocean Yachtmaster. She is also human systems dynamics practitioner and is undertaking the NTL Global Organisation Development Certificate.
Vee has a passion for volunteering and has been a trustee for The Princess Royal Hospital – Friends and a mentor for the Time Bank Refugee scheme. She lives in West Sussex and enjoys sharing dog walks and growing allotment produce with her family.
