Liz is known for her ability with people, her sharp wit, warmth, insight, and academic rigour. She quickly establishes rapport with clients and is effective in encouraging real and productive debate, reflection and growth.

Liz has strong interests in leadership, individual and team development and the evaluation of interventions, transformation and development programmes, Liz delivers leadership and team development, executive coaching, OD research, consultancy and evaluation across a range of sectors.

Current and recent projects include coaching assignments for leaders in the arts, charity and university sectors, researching and defining leadership behaviours for academic and public sector organisations, analysis of emerging leadership roles for NHS Trusts, culture change and team development in the NHS and local government and OD evaluation projects in the NHS and other public sector organisations.

As a coach Liz focuses on learning and progress, drawing on a range of techniques to support and challenge her clients in reaching their goals. High empathetic, she recognises and celebrates each individual’s potential for growth, coaching the whole person, not just the issues they bring.

Liz was previously a Principal Researcher at Roffey Park Institute. She has published research on employee engagement; the transition of technical and professional experts into leadership roles; success factors in NHS change programmes and the evaluation of organisational development interventions.

Liz has worked with clients across a range of sectors, including the NHS, local and national government, legal, academia, IT and financial services, charities, housing, insurance, transport, and the arts. She is accredited in the use of Korn Ferry’s Leadership Styles and Climate tools, holds a Diploma in Executive Coaching from the AoEC and is a member of the International Federation for Action Learning.

Liz is the mother of two adult sons and lives with her husband in East Sussex, where she is often to be found walking the South Downs in an attempt to keep her step count up. She is also a keen theatre and concert goer.
