Kiran is known for his grasp of the bigger picture, his insight and ability to help clients ‘cross the river by feeling the stones’. Kiran helps people deal with complexity and move forward together, even as they face seemingly intractable issues.

Kiran Chitta is an occupational psychologist specialising in leadership, organisation design and development, business change and career transitions.

Over the last twenty five years, Kiran has helped clients around the world to build greater self-awareness within their own situation, while taking courageous action during times of uncertainty.

Based in London, Kiran has also lived and worked extensively in the Middle East and Asia Pacific regions. He has spent six years of his recent career based in Singapore, and at a stage prior to that, three years in Dubai. He has therefore been a practitioner and a resident in contrasting social environments.

After starting his career at Procter & Gamble, Kiran held several positions in people and organisation development, including internal and external consulting roles at several blue-chip organisations. This has included Deloitte, Accenture, Motorola Middle East Africa, Majid Al Futtaim Group in the Middle East, and Oliver Wyman. Kiran has also been a Deputy Director within the UK Senior Civil Service and worked extensively as a consultant for the Singapore Civil Service, helping to shape internal capabilities which support civil service transformation in the UK and Singapore. His recent clients are across sectors such as government, technology, professional services, insurance, financial services, hospitality, retail and luxury goods, working on projects with regional and global scope.

Kiran has an MA from Oxford University in experimental psychology, an MSc from the Manchester Institute of Science and Technology in organisational psychology and a doctorate in psychotherapy from the Metanoia Institute, a leading training institute in psychotherapy and applied behavioural sciences. He is a Chartered Psychologist, Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society, the author of two books on leadership and organisational agility, and of peer-reviewed articles.

Kiran is a lover of literature, arts and cultural exploration. As an Indian born British citizen with a multi-cultural background, Kiran brings a deeply personal appreciation of diversity and difference, its creative possibilities and its challenges. He is passionate about realising human potential.
