Don specialises in developing solutions for improving organisational and leadership effectiveness. With over 25 years of experience, he offers a unique blend of organisational development, consulting skills, management experience and functional business knowledge.
Don is a Global Faculty member for BP, providing coaching and facilitation for senior/group-level leaders in the U.S., Canada, Australia, Europe, Asia-Pac and the Middle East in the areas of change leadership, leading effective teams, conflict management and influence. He has also provided executive coaching for Duke Executive Education and facilitated programs for Barclays.
Prior to this, Don worked with the Center for Creative Leadership® (CCL®) as Senior Faculty for the Global Custom Solutions Group. In this capacity, he consulted with global clients to assess their organisational development needs, and then design and implement custom leadership development solutions. His clients included AXA Equitable, Bayer, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Booz Allen Hamilton, ESPN, Ford Motor Company, Medtronic, Saks Fifth Avenue, Verizon Communications, WellPoint, and the U.S. Intelligence Community.
Before joining CCL, he was Vice President, Development Director for JPMorgan Chase Bank. In this role, Don created an executive management/leadership development function and led the efforts for leadership mentoring. In addition, he was responsible for managing a performance consulting group to support the JPMorgan Chase investment bank.
Don also has extensive consumer product experience, contributing leadership and expertise in the areas of organisational development, strategic planning, talent management, training, and performance management while at Nabisco, Sara Lee Corporation, E&J Gallo Winery, and Oscar Mayer Company.
Don earned an M.B.A. from the Babcock Graduate School of Management at Wake Forest University. He also received a B.S. in Business Administration, with a concentration in Marketing Management from the University of Louisiana – Lafayette. Don resides in Winston-Salem, North Carolina and enjoys stage acting, theatre, jazz / blues music, hiking, traveling and exploring new cultures.
