Val is an International Business Transformation, Innovation and Leadership Expert with over 20 years’ experience in teaching executives and, as a practitioner, providing strategic leadership, delivering global business innovation and technology driven transformation initiatives.

She specialises in working with organisations that are dealing with transformational change and innovation challenges by adapting strategy, aligning leaders and organisations. Her mission is to co-create and deliver customised, innovative and future-focused solutions that transform the leadership, organisation and workforce. Val relishes her role as a trusted advisor and thought partner for business leaders, providing strategic leadership in designing and delivering both small- and large-scale change  initiatives, either on a local or global basis.

Val has worked with major clients across the Financial Services, Pharmaceutical, Technology, Oil & Gas, Utilities and Automotive and Manufacturing sectors and has deployed her skills in these sectors across Europe, the United States, Japan, Africa, Middle East and CEE countries. She provides strategic leadership, delivers business transformation/change, and designs, implements and manages large-scale International projects with budgets in excess of £50million and operational teams between 50 and 100 staff.

In parallel with her business consulting activities, Val has also built up over 20 years’ expertise in designing and delivering Executive Development programmes. Val currently holds Visiting Fellow positions at the WMG Group at University of Warwick, London Business School, the Singapore Institute of Management and the Hernstein Institute for Management and Leadership (Vienna, Austria) where she designs and delivers Executive Development programmes in Strategy, Innovation & Change and Entrepreneurship.

Val holds a Ph.D. in Economic Psychology and Sociology, with a specialisation in Applied Systems’ Thinking and Organisational Dynamics. She is a Graduate Certificate in Management and Administration from Harvard University, with a specialisation in Strategic Management and Leadership. She holds a Masters Degree in Teaching and is a Certified Prince 2 Practitioner with APMG/QMS registered certification. Val has published a variety of articles about management and leadership, has co-authored a book entitled “Management Compass” and has recently published an article entitled “Why your organisation needs post-heroic leadership”.
