David’s capacity to listen and pick up on what is not said – but nonetheless present – allows his clients to have breakthroughs in dealing with challenges in how they communicate and approach situations
David was born and educated in Frankfurt where he started his career as a lawyer in the late 90’s. He also worked as a musical theatre producer on Broadway in New York. This was followed by working in international feature film sales and distribution for the European entertainment network RTL-Group. He also spent time working as a professional actor.
David has over 12 years’ experience designing and delivering corporate training. In 2012 he set up his own business as an independent trainer/facilitator and coach specialising in Leadership, Diversity & Inclusion and Unconscious Bias, and Communication Skills.
David has delivered a number of different leadership programmes in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. He has worked with clients in different sectors, including banking, law, accounting, oil and gas, transport infrastructure, telecoms and leisure, and the public sector. He also provides one-to-one coaching working with clients from a variety of industries such as insurance, law and film production.
David’s approach is to take conversations to a level where behavioural change is possible as a result of feedback and challenge, combined with personal reflection and insight. He is particularly interested in coaching people to get a better understanding of what is going on in the back of their mind and how this impacts on their leadership or communication, so that they can take conscious responsibility for their behaviour and communication.
A native German and English speaker he delivers training in English and German and has also worked in French.
